ACCOMMODATION

Booking Conditions
The hotel uses an online booking payment and check-in / check-out system. There is no staffed reception. Access to hotel entrance and room as well as to cabins is available via codes. Codes are sent automatically via text message and email.

Product information
Lofoten Bed & Breakfast AS rents out rooms, apartments and cabins of different categories. Included is bed linen, towels and final cleaning. At Lofoten Bed & Breakfast in Reine a simple continental breakfast is included.

Pricing
The price varies from stay to stay and day to day. See the website www.reelofoten.no for continuously updated prices.

Sales and delivery terms
Check-in information will be sent to you by email and sms on the check-in day. The accommodation unit(s) is booked immediately after booking has been completed. You will receive an order confirmation. This is done by sending an email to you with a receipt for your stay. This receipt is proof that you as a guest have reserved a room for the given period of time and therefore require accommodation for a given period.

Payment
We require full payment 14 days prior to the arrival date. Payment is made in either of the two following options: 1. online via a payment link made available to you 18 days before your stay. 2. through a booking channel. Invoice agreements must be done BEFORE booking is made. For groups other terms and conditions apply.

Group policy
In case of group bookings (3 rooms or more) we require full payment within 3 days, or sooner to make sure payment is done before check-in.

Personal information
REEL AS processes personal data according to the Personal Data Act. Information that may be associated with you as a person will never be made available to other businesses or be linked to other external records.

Brief Information
When you shop at REEL AS, payment will be processed by DIBS / TELLER. This is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard / Eurocard. All card information is kept in accordance with the card companies’ regulations.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your stay, this must be done minimum14 days before your stay. Cancellations of stays that are not booked / canceled through other channels must be sent in writing to booking@reelofoten.no, marked “Cancellation” and order number from receipt of the booking.

Complaints
If there is an error or defect in the goods, you must inform REEL AS in writing (e-mail or letter) within a reasonable period of time that you wish to claim the error / defect. REEL AS will then give you information on what to do next. The rules on complaints can be found in the Consumer Buying Act (Consumer Purchase Act).

Right of withdrawal
There is no right of cancellation under the law of travel and residence.

Warranty
There is a guarantee under Norwegian law on travel and hotel stay.

Alcohol and brought food/goods
You are not allowed to enjoy alcohol in the hotel’s public areas.
Food can be prepared only in those units provided with such equipment. You are not allowed to use personal/private electronic cooking devices on the property.

House rules
You are not allowed to let people other than those listed as residents of the room enter the hotel room. If there is special need for this, this should be agreed with the hotel in advance. You are not allowed to party in rooms or in public areas.

Pets are not allowed.

Smoking is not permitted, either in the room or in the public areas. Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas only.

Violation of the Terms of Use might result in an invalid door code and an additional fee of up to NOK 2500, – will incur.

ACTIVITIES

Conditions liveaboard TRIO II:
Booking must be done through your AGENT Booking is secure when a 20 % non-refundable down payment is paid.

Cancellation must be done in writing minimum 12 weeks prior to trip. Your booking will be confirmed when we have reached the minimum number of participants (6 fully paying guests) Down payment is not refunded.

Conditions daytours:
BOOKING:
Your booking is not complete until you receive your electronic ticket. Reservations not paid within the 14 days prior to activity date will be cancelled unless special agreement. The mobile number given in your booking must be operative within 24 hours prior to your scheduled activity.

PAYMENT:
Payment must be done 14 days prior to your trip. Payment must be done by credit card. Payment by invoice is not an option unless special arrangement made prior to booking.

CANCELLATION:
All cancellation must be notified in writing not less than 14 days prior to your trip, or you will be charged in full. If booking is cancelled or the number of guests reduced within the 14 days before your trip, the original booking will be charged in full. If your trip is cancelled due to weather conditions, not enough participants or technical issues of any sort, your payment will be refunded in full. Due to quick changes in local weather conditions we may cancel on short notice – up to 1 hour before departure. Due to quick changes in the booking picture you may be notified of cancellations due to “not enough participants” up to 1 hour before departure.

MEETING POINT:
Meeting point for all our trips is at our Booking Office in the center of Reine; Reine Ytre Havn 1, 8390 Reine
If it is inconvenient for you to get to Reine, and want to be picked up at a different location, please contact us by e-mail to pre-arrange this.

MEETING TIME:
Meeting time is always 20 minutes prior to departure time. Departure time is the shown time of the activity on your booking. Example: If you booked a trip at 10 AM, your meet up time is 09.40 AM! Meeting time at any other locations varies between 10 – 30+ minutes after departure time of your trip, depending on several variables. Please check this the day of your trip. No refunds in case of guests being delayed. Meeting time is final; 20 min. prior to departure time.
