Midnight Sun in Lofotodden National Park
This tour is available during the period of time that Lofoten gets the midnight sun, which is from May 27 until July 17. The trip will still go ahead if it’s cloudy, but even if you don’t get to see the sun itself, the experience and light conditions are really unique. After a picturesque boat trip into the Reinefjord, a walk through a magical landscape awaits. After a slight ascent, the landscape opens up and one of the world’s most beautiful beaches comes into view, surrounded by sky-high mountains and illuminated by the midnight sun.
Boat Trip and Walk
This is a self-guided walking trip. We’ll take an RIB boat from Reine to the village of Vinstad. From Vinstad, you’ll walk on a gravel path along the Bunesfjord, before you start a small ascent up to Einangen hill. The walk takes around 40 minutes. The view from Einanagen down to the Bunesstranda beach is indescribable, and simply must be experienced. You will have plenty of time for walking around and taking photos on the beach before you head back the same way and get picked up where the boat dropped you off. The trip takes approx. three hours and is suitable for most people.

Meeting place and time:
Our office in the centre of Reine, 20 minutes before the tour’s departure time.
The departure time is the time listed for the activity in your booking. For example, if the tour starts at 22:30, we’ll meet at 22:10.
