Booking of accommodation and activities
When you book accommodation and activity with us, we will ask for your name, e-mail address, and mobile phone number. It is enough to provide the e-mail address and mobile number of one person per group. However, we ask you to provide the names of all group members for our passenger list.
The full name is necessary to comply with fire safety regulations, as a complete list of all guests must be submitted during an evacuation.
The E-mail address will be used to send you your confirmation, ticket(s), check-in information and your receipt.
The mobile phone number (as well as the e-mail address) is used to send out important information pertaining the trip you have booked.
We use online payment for all bookings. No payment information is stored by us.
We use a cloud-based booking and PMS system and do not store any information from our customer database on PCs or in paper format.
If you would like us to delete your personal information data after your tour, please send an email to booking@reelofoten.no.
Invoicing / accounting information
If you have agreed to pay by invoice, we will ask for all necessary information to be able to issue an invoice in accordance with current rules and regulations. We use a cloud-based accounting software and will therefore not store any personal information as paper documents. As a general rule, we send out invoices as Auto invoice to ensure the best possible protection of your personal information.
Access to personal information
Our staff has limited access to customer data and only to information that they needed to fulfill their duties. Skippers and guides have access to passenger lists (with names of all participants) Accounting staff have access to customer and supplier information. The general manager has full access to all personal information.
Security of personal information
All employees have their own login with a personal password. It should therefore not be possible for unauthorized persons to access or handle personal data.
All PCs used in the company are password protected and access is only granted to staff with specific tasks on the given PC.
All software containing personal information is password protected and access is only granted to staff who need said program to fulfill their duties.
