Public Transportation<\/h2>\r\n

If you plan on using public transportation to travel to, from and\/or within Lofoten, we recommend Reis Nordland<\/a><\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

By Plane <\/h3>\r\n

Leknes Airport, which is located approximately 60 km from Reine, is the closest airport. This means that you will most likely need to use public transportation to travel between the airport and our location. You can also rent a car.<\/p>\r\n

Most flights to Leknes Airport depart from Bod\u00f8, but you may get lucky and find direct flights from Troms\u00f8 and Oslo as well, depending on the time of year you’re planning on travelling.<\/p>\r\n

By Boat<\/h3>\r\n

If you’d like to travel by boat, you have two options: Moskenes ferry or Hurtigruten. Both depart from Bod\u00f8 heading north. Hurtigruten also departs from Troms\u00f8 and other smaller ports heading south.<\/p>\r\n

The Moskenes ferry runs between Bod\u00f8 and Moskenes, which is located 5 km from Reine and 3 km from S\u00f8rv\u00e5gen. It is possible to bring your car on the ferry, but we would recommend that you book your spot in advance. Information about ferry timetables: \u202fCar ferry Bod\u00f8 – Moskenes<\/a><\/p>\r\n

There are a car rental services that can deliver the car on the ferry docks at Moskenes, so if you’re planning on renting a car during your stay in Lofoten, you won’t have to pay to get the rental car across the fjord. Rent a car well in advance.<\/p>\r\n

Hurtigruten runs from Bod\u00f8 to Stamsund if you’re travelling north, and from Troms\u00f8 by route of six smaller ports before you reach Stamsund heading south.\u202f Information and timetables for Hurtigruten:\u00a0Hurtigruten<\/a><\/p>\r\n

The distance between Stamsund and Reine is 70 km and between Stamsund and S\u00f8rv\u00e5gen 77 km. You can rent a car on the docks in Stamsund.<\/p>\r\n

By Bus<\/h3>\r\n

If you’re planning on traveling by bus, you’ll most likely have to transfer between buses at Leknes. Information about bus timetables:<\/p>\r\n

Reis Nordland Buss<\/a><\/p>\r\n

The bus stop closest to Lofoten Bed & Breakfast (4 minute walk) is called Reinebringen<\/em>. The bus stop closest to Buodden Rorbuer fisherman’s cabins is called\u00a0S\u00f8rv\u00e5gen Skole<\/em>. It is about 850 meters away from the cabins.<\/p>\r\n

The bus stop closest to REEL activities is Reine<\/em>. <\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

By Car<\/h3>\r\n

You can either drive your car onboard Moskenesferga ferry (see section ‘By Boat’), or you can drive around, via Bjerkvik, north of Narvik.<\/p>\r\n

If you’re coming from the south and think the drive around Bjerkvik will be long, there are a couple of shortcuts across Vestfjorden:<\/p>\r\n

Skutvik – Svolv\u00e6r, car ferry<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Bognes – L\u00f8dingen, car ferry<\/a><\/p>\r\nBy Car to Lofoten Bed & Breakfast<\/strong>
\r\nComing from the east: Take the E10 and follow the signs for \u00c5 in Lofoten. Turn left at the sign for Reine (10 km before \u00c5), drive over Reinehalsen and continue to follow the road for about 600m. On the right you will see a white building with our sign Lofoten Bed & Breakfast. On the opposite side you will see Galleri Eva Harr \/ The Visitor Centre for Lofotodden National Park in a large orange building, where you can park during your stay with us.\r\n

Coming from the west: Take the E10 towards Narvik for about 4.5 km before turning right down towards Reine.<\/p>\r\n

\r\nFollow the E10 towards \u00c5 in Lofoten, to S\u00f8rv\u00e5gen. Drive past Joker (grocery), and right after Matkroken (grocery) turn left towards Klingenberg. After 400m turn right towards Bogen and Buodden rorbuer. Keep right over the hilltop, at the bottom of the hill turn right over the gravel site. Straight ahead you will find Buodden rorbuer.\r\n

\r\nComing from the east: Take the E10 and follow the signs for \u00c5 in Lofoten. Turn left at the sign for Reine (10 km before \u00c5), drive over Reinehalsen and continue to follow the road for about 900m. On the left you will see the petrol station Circle K. On the opposite side you will see our house, a white house with a blue door in the basement.\r\n

Coming from the west: Take the E10 towards Narvik for about 4.5 km before turning right down towards Reine.<\/p>\r\n

Parking<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

When you’re staying at Lofoten Bed & Breakfast, parking is at Galleri Eva Harr\/The National Park Center. Remember to place a parking slip in the front window – you’ll find one in your room, or in the information room.<\/p>\r\n

When you\u00b4re staying at Buodden Rorbuer, parking is free in the parking in front of your cabin.<\/p>\r\n

When you’re taking part in activities with us, there’s a large car park at Reine Ytre Havn, over the hilltop, just behind the booking office. There is also a parking in the centre of Reine, just outside our bookingoffice. <\/p>\r\n

\r\n\t\t\tPlan Your Trip\t<\/h2>\r\n
